Many of the historical coins in the upcoming extraordinary exhibition from 1793 to 1964 are the best of their kind. The centerpiece will be the legendary King of Siam Proof Set, which was originally given as a gift to the King of Siam (now Thailand) by the US State Department in 1836 on behalf of President Andrew Jackson.

“The entire, incomparable exhibition, entitled ‘US Type Coins from The Tyrant Collection’ is insured for US $ 100 million,” said Ira Goldberg, CEO of Goldberg Coins and Collectibles, Inc. in Los Angeles, California.
